Artist James Woodfield Spruill, of St. Petersburg, crafted the artwork for Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song. The image includes The Courageous 12 St. Petersburg, Fla., police officers, the first group of black police officers in the country to sue a police department over segregation and discrimination within the agency.
