The Power of Song Inc. joined the list of charities eligible to receive donations from Amazon, creating a new revenue stream for the growing non-profit organization.

The Power of Song produces the official kick-off event for St. Petersburg's Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service volunteer programs with its event, Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song. The production shares the music that drove the movement and the impact of songs as a tool of nonviolence in conflicts today.

In its third year, Sounds of the Civil Rights Movement: The Power of Song is set to go to stage at The Palladium Theater Jan. 8-9, 2017 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
