Stanford's Dr. Clayborne Carson reflects on play that gave birth to The Power of Song Inc.

The Power of Song Inc. was born from CEO September Penn’s work with Dr. Clayborne Carson, a history professor at Stanford University and director of the Martin Luther King Research and Education Institute. Carson selected Penn as co-music director of his play Passages of Martin Luther King for its full staged performance in Beijing, China 12 years ago.
